KSP Charges Jefferson Co. Man With Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography

(Louisville, Ky.)— A Jefferson County man was arrested on charges related to child pornography Friday after Kentucky State Police served a search warrant at his home.
Troy M. Martin, 44, is charged with two counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor and 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
Martin was arrested as the result of an ongoing undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. Detectives with the KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after observing Martin sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Martin's residence in Louisville on Friday, February 6, 2015, by the KSP Electronic Crime Branch assisted by troopers from KSP Post 4-Elizabethtown and Louisville Metro Police officers. Equipment used to distribute and possess child pornography was seized and taken to KSP's Forensic Laboratory for examination.
Martin was lodged in the Jefferson County Detention Center.
