Injury Collision on KY 1497 in Calloway County

(Calloway County) - Miguel A. De Luna, operating a 1994 Red Ford Escort, was traveling Northbound on Murray-Paris Road (KY 1497) when he lost control due to wet pavement. Mr. De Luna veered off the East side of the roadway and struck a West Kentucky Rural Electric utility pole. Mr. De Luna, sustained possible injuries and was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital via Murray-Calloway County EMS. This collision caused a power outage for several hours to Southern portions of Calloway County. Kentucky State Police was assisted by Murray Fire Department, Calloway County Fire-Rescue, Murray-Calloway County DES Rescue Squad, and Murray-Calloway County EMS. The investigation continues by Trooper Trey Green.
