DUI Injury Motorcycle Collision on Irvin Cobb Road in Calloway County

Date of News Release: 06/28/2008

(Mayfield, KY) - Mr. Michael S. Maness was traveling Eastbound on Irvin Cobb Road when he lost control of his motorcycle. He applied his brakes in an attempt to avoid striking a small animal. Mr. Maness was ejected and the motorcycle overturned several times before it came to final rest. Due to his injuries, Mr. Maness was cited to court for Driving Under the Influence 1^st Offense. Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by Calloway County Fire and Rescue, Murray Fire Department, and Murray- Calloway County Ambulance Service. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Brian Duvall.
