Golf Cart Collision in Livingston County

(Birdsville, KY) - At approximately 7:50 AM, Kentucky State Police responded to a residence on Birdsville Road in Livingston County to a report of a golf cart that had overturned on a 12 year-old boy. An investigation by troopers revealed the juvenile was operating a 4-wheel drive golf cart on private property when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the side of a private access road and began to overturn injuring the driver. Livingston County EMS transported the juvenile to Lourdes Hospital for injuries. The investigation is continuing by Trooper T.J. Williams with the Kentucky State Police.
