Death Investigation at Devil's Elbow Boatramp in Canton, KY

(Mayfield, KY) - Mr. William L. Lisch was tying his boat to the dock at Devil's Elbow Boatramp in Canton, KY. The rope broke and he fell into the water. He tried to swim after his boat as it drifted away but become distressed and advised his wife on the dock that he wasn't going to make it. His wife flagged down a motorist, who called 911. They flagged down a boater who took them out to search for the subject, with no contact. The boater then went back out and began to drag the water and found Mr. Lisch's body. Trooper Over was assisted by Fish & Wildlife Officers, Trigg County EMS, and Trigg County Rescue.
