Hit & Run Accident on US 60 in Livingston County

(Mayfield, KY) - Mr. Timothy Lynch was Westbound on US 60 and was stopped waiting for Eastbound traffic to clear at Cody Cooper Road. Mr. Jeffrey Castleberry was also westbound and struck Mr. Lynch's vehicle from behind. Mr. Castleberry fled the scene, leaving an injured rider in the ditch. Witnesses followed Mr. Castleberry to Reidland and waited until law enforcement arrived to identify him. Mr. Castleberry was arrested and charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident and DUI 3^rd. He is lodged in the McCracken County Jail and was charged additional on August 19^th with Assault 1^st.
