Multiple Vehicle Accident with Injuries

Henderson, KY - A GMC Sierra pickup being operated by Joshua Wilson was traveling north on US 41. For unknown reasons, Wilson lost control of the GMC Sierra pickup and crossed over into the lane of travel of a Ford F Series pickup. The Ford pickup that was being operated by Hunter McDonald was struck by the GMC pickup in the right, front fender. Upon making contact with the Ford pickup, the GMC pickup went into slide, crossing into the south bound lane of traffic and striking a Chrysler 300 sedan in the driver side of the vehicle. The operator of the Chrysler sedan, Harry Bowles, was injured during the collision. Bowles was transported to Methodist Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. After the GMC pickup struck the Chrysler sedan, the GMC pickup continued to slide and then struck a Dodge Ram pickup that was also traveling south on US 41. The Dodge pickup was being operated by Danny Smith whom was not injured during the collision. After the GMC pickup struck the Dodge pickup, the GMC pickup struck a guard rail and came to a final stop. After investigating, Joshua Wilson was arrested and charged for driving under the influence and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center. The accident is still under investigation.
