Drug Arrest in Hartford, KY

(Henderson, KY) -- On October 3, 2014 at approximately 1:00am Kentucky State Police approached a red 2000 Ford Ranger parked after hours at Charlie's Market in Hartford, KY. Upon approach the trooper detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Ryan Boyken of Hartford, was taken into custody and a search of the vehicle was conducted. The search of the pickup truck resulted in the arrest of Mr. Boyken who was transported and lodged at the Ohio County Detention Center on the charges of Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Meth Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
