One Arrested on Drug Charges in Daviess County

(Henderson, KY) - Acting on a tip, Kentucky State Police and the Daviess County Sheriff's Office responded to KY 764 in the Whitesville Community to investigate possible drug activity. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Jeremy Dee Payne outside his residence. After investigation, officers located numerous items used to manufacture Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, Marijuana plants and a firearm. Jeremy Payne was arrested at the scene without incident and lodged into Daviess County Detention Center. Jeremy Payne is charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Cultivating in Marijuana (5 plants or more), Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and other drug related charges. KSP was assisted at the scene by Daviess County Sheriff's Department.
