Dawson Springs Man Charged With Manufacturing Methamphetamine

Princeton, KY (Caldwell County) - The Kentucky State Police charged a Dawson Springs man with drug-related offenses.
On Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at approximately 6:38 p.m., Troopers Joseph Bartolotti, Nathan Craft, Jonathan Murphy, and Bob Winters arrived at a residence on Mount Hebron Church Road in an attempt to locate a wanted individual.
Upon their arrival, the troopers located the wanted individual, Michael J. Adamson, 43, of Dawson Springs, KY. Trooper Craft arrested Mr. Adamson and charged him with the following offense: Execution of Warrant for Other Agency. Mr. Adamson was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
While at the residence, the troopers located drug paraphernalia in plain view. Consent to search the residence was obtained. During the course of the investigation, the troopers located suspected methamphetamine and components commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Trooper Bartolotti arrested and charged the following individual:
Brandon L. Sherill, 29, of Dawson Springs, KY
- Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense (B Felony)
- Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense < 2 grams Meth (D Felony)
- Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor 1st Offense (D Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (A Misdemeanor)
Mr. Sherill was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
