McLean County Man was Arrested on Charges Related to Child Exploitation

(Calhoun, KY) - A McLean County man was arrested on charges related to child exploitation (pornography) Tuesday after the Kentucky State Police and Owensboro Police Department served an arrest warrant at his Calhoun home.
Bryan D. Sunn, 45, of Calhoun, is charged with 389 counts of Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor, which is a class D felony each. Sunn was arrested without incident around 1:00 pm by the Kentucky State Police and Owensboro Police Department. He was charged and taken to the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford.
Sunn was charged by the Kentucky State Police ICAC Task Force as a result of an undercover investigation into the possession and distribution of videos/images of child sexual exploitation. The investigation began in February 2015 which resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Sunn's residence in Calhoun by the Kentucky State Police and Owensboro Police Department. Detectives seized evidence that was being used to possess child pornography and which further examination is needed.
More charges on Sunn may be expected as investigators search additional computer components.
Kentucky State Police and the Owensboro Police Department are members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).
