Two Vehicle Accident with Injuries

(Henderson, KY) - On October 27, 2015 at approximate 10:07PM Kentucky State Police Post 16 Henderson responded to a two vehicle accident with injuries east bound on the U.S. Highway 60 Bypass near the Frederica Street exit in Daviess County, KY. Upon investigation at the scene it was determined that Ms. Renee Hill of Owensboro, KY was operating a White 2002 Hyundai Sonata east bound on the bypass when she stopped in traffic to pick up Mr. John Hoopingarner Sr, of W. Terre Haute, IN. Ms. Tessa M. Yates of Lewisport, KY was operating a Red 2007 Pontiac G6 also east bound on the bypass and could not stop in time due to road conditions striking Ms. Hill's vehicle in the rear. All three subjects were transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Trooper Wright was assisted on scene by the Daviess County Sheriff's Office, Daviess County Fire Department, and Yellow Ambulance Service.
