Post 16 KSPPA Chapter Selling Bracelets for Area Children
Date of News Release: 11/16/2015
(Henderson, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Professional Association District 16 is currently conducting a fundraiser to help area disadvantaged children just in time for the Holidays. For many years, Troopers with the Kentucky State Police and local law enforcement officers come together to participate in "Shop with a Trooper" program. This program allows troopers and officers alike to assist low income children by shopping for necessities and toys just before Christmas. This not only helps lower income families during the stressful holiday season but it also shows a much different side to law enforcement.
In order to assist in the expense, KSPPA District 16 is selling Thin Gray Line, Thin Blue Line and Thin Gold Line silicone bracelets for $5 each. Money raised goes to the worthy project and it also shows support to these troopers.
You can pick up these support bracelets at:
KSP Post 16 ~ 8415 US 41 South ~ Henderson, KY. (24 hour operation)
Riverwalk Razor ~ 221 St. Ann Street ~ Owensboro, KY.
Hours of operation: Tue-Fri 9-6; Sat 9-1. Closed Sunday and Monday.
