DUI Injury Collision on KY 849 in Graves County

(Hickory, KY ) - Russell Horton was traveling east on KY 849 East when his vehicle traveled off the roadway, into a ditch, and struck a tree. His passenger, Johnny Adams, had to be extricated by mechanical means. Both driver and passenger were transported to Lourdes Hospital. Mr. Horton was treated and released, with minor injuries, and was arrested for Driving Under the Influence 1st Offense (Aggravated), No Operators License, Possession Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in Vehicle, and Assault 1st Degree. The investigation continues by Trooper Luke Durbin. Trooper Durbin was assisted at the scene by Trooper William Propes, Trooper Anthony Harrison, Mayfield/Graves County Ambulance, Viola Fire Department, North Graves Fire Department.
