KSP Makes Drug Arrest in Calloway County

(Murray, KY) – Kentucky State Police arrested Magdi N. Mandil, 28 of Murray, on Thursday March 12, 2015. KSP received a tip that Mandil was trafficking in illegal drugs from his residence. After a two week investigation, KSP charged Mandil with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (methamphetamine), Trafficking in Marijuana 1st Offense (less than 8 ounces), Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree (anabolic steroid), Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (drug unspecified), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mandil was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
The Kentucky State Police was assisted by the Murray Police Department and Calloway County Sheriff's Department. The Investigation continues by Trooper Eric West.
