WHAT: Fund Raiser for Trooper Island
WHEN: Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 10:00 AM till Midnight.
WHERE: Papa John's in Lone Oak, and the Papa john's on Clarks River Rd
WHO: Kentucky State Police and Papa John's
WHY: Papa John's in Lone Oak and Clark's River Road Store will be conducting a fund raiser for Trooper Island. A portion of all sales will be donated to Trooper Island.

Trooper Island Camp is a unique summer camp providing exciting and challenging summer adventures for boys and girls ages 10-12. Campers come from across Kentucky to a nurturing, caring and diverse camp where each young person is someone special. It is a safe place where young people can find fun, friends and memories to last a lifetime. The supportive environment encourages each young person to become stronger and more independent learners, to set new goals, to develop self-confidence, responsibility and leadership, all while having the summer of a lifetime!

Trooper Island Camp was established by the Kentucky State Police in 1965. It is situated on a 34-acre island that is nestled on beautiful Dale Hollow Lake on the Kentucky-Tennessee border. Trooper Island is a non-profit entity, relying solely on tax-deductible donations from the public.
