KSP Charge Marion Man in Connection to the Burglary at the Marion Country Club

Marion, KY (Crittenden County) - The Kentucky State Police has charged a Marion man in connection to the burglary that occurred at the Marion Country Club on Monday, December 14.
On Saturday, December 19, at approximately 10:35 a.m., Trooper First Class Darron Holliman executed a warrant on Christopher T. Freeman, 46, Marion, KY. Mr. Freeman was charged with one count of Burglary 3rd Degree (D Felony). The warrant was served at the Crittenden County Jail where Mr. Freeman had previously been lodged for unrelated charges. He remains lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.

KSP Investigating Burglary at Country Club

Marion, KY (Crittenden County) - The Kentucky State Police is currently investigating a burglary that occurred at the Marion Country Club located on Blackburn Street in Marion.
On Monday, December 14, at approximately 8:52 a.m., the KSP Post 2 Madisonville was contacted in reference to a burglary at the country club. Trooper First Class William Braden responded to the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed that on Monday, December 14, at approximately 2:00 a.m., an unknown, male suspect forced entry through a window to gain access to the building. While inside, the suspect damaged a cash register and a surveillance camera. The suspect stole food from a refrigerator and other, unknown items. A photo of the suspect is included with this release.
