Injury Collision Resulting in Stolen Vehicle Recovery and Arrest

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Saturday, January 17, at approx. 12:56 a.m. Kentucky State Police received a call of an unoccupied vehicle that appeared to been have wrecked and was blocking the roadway on Old Greenhill Road.
Dustin Ashbrook(28), of Miamisburg, OH and Jimmie Norman(34) of Centerville, OH were located in the area and were transported to the Bowling Green Medical Center by Medcom for injuries they sustained in the collision.
During the investigation it was discovered that the vehicle, a 2006 Kia SUV, was entered as a stolen vehicle out of Ohio.
Both subjects were treated and released from the Bowling Green Medical Center, where they were arrested and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. Ashbrook was charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Driving Under the Influence, Operating on a Suspended Operators License, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Norman was charged with Receiving Stolen Property. The investigation is being conducted by Trooper Jonathan Carlock.
Through further investigation it has been discovered that the Norman subject gave a false name and is actually Jeremy Norman(31) of Centerville, OH. Additional charges will be forthcoming.
