Fleeing and Wanton Endangerment Arrest in Morgantown

(Morgantown, KY) - On Monday, May 11, 2015 at approx. 10:48 am Trooper Josh Amos clocked a speeding 2014 Suzuki motorcycle on the William H. Natcher Parkway in Butler County where he exited in Morgantown and nearly wrecked. He then continued a short distance before coming to a stop at the local Shell Station.
The operator, Willard Schlabach (28) of Lewisburg, KY was arrested and lodged in the Butler County Jail. He was charged with Speeding Over 26mph, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (Motorcycle), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, No Motorcycle/Operators License, Disregarding Stop Sign, Improper Passing, No Registration Receipt, and Failure To Produce Insurance Card.
The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Trooper Josh Amos.
