Date of News Release: 07/03/2015

(Horse Cave, KY) - On Thursday, July 2, 2015 at approx. 6:06 pm the Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a call of an injury collision on KY 218 just outside the city limits of Horse Cave in Hart County.

The preliminary investigation indicated that Byron Priddy (36) of Hardyville was traveling west on KY 218 operating a 2007 Ford and attempted to make a left turn into the parking lot of the livestock market, but failed to see an eastbound 2004 Ford that was operated by Christopher Bradley (20) of Hardyville. When making the left turn Priddy turned into the pathway of Bradley, where the vehicles collided.

Both operators along with three passengers in Bradley's vehicle were transported to area hospitals where they were all treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Trooper Randy Chambers, where he was assisted by Trooper Justin Roundtree, the Hart County EMS, and the Horse Cave Fire Department.
