Two More Arrested in Connection with Angela Hall Murder

(Campbellsburg, KY) - The Kentucky State Police has arrested two more individuals in connection with the murder investigation of Angela Hall.

On December 1st Kentucky State Police Detectives at Post 5 Campbellsburg arrested Megan Elston, 24, of Smithfield KY and Bethany "Nikki" Thomas, 30, of Campbellsburg KY.

Both subjects are charged with Complicity to Assault 1st for their participation in the assault of Angela Hall that took place in Trimble County on November 7th.

Both women are lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center and the investigation is still ongoing at this time.

Three Henry County Men Arrested in Connection with Murder Investigation

(Campbellsburg, KY) - On Tuesday November 24th the Kentucky State Police made three arrests in connection with the murder investigation of an Oldham County Woman. John Downey, 30 of New Castle, was charged with Murder, Abuse of a Corpse, Assault 1st Degree, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Joshua Sparkman, 30 of Campbellsburg, was charged with Assault 1st Degree. Bobby Long, 30 of New Castle, was charged with Murder and Abuse of a Corpse. All three individuals were lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.

On Friday November 20th Post 5 Campbellsburg received a call of a missing person. Angela Hall, 34 of LaGrange was entered as a missing person at that time.

On November 23rd Troopers with Post 5 received information and began conducting interviews with suspects and witnesses of the alleged murder of Angela Hall. Between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on November 24th the arrests of John Downey, Bobby Long, and Joshua Sparkman were made.

Remains of an unidentified individual were found in a location described to investigators by the suspects in this case.
