Single Vehicle Injury Collision

HARTFORD, KY. (June 10, 2016) - Kentucky State Police responded to a single vehicle collision on the William Natcher Parkway at the 46 mile-maker. The preliminary investigation revealed that Jeffery Crowley, 31, of Gordsonville, TN was travelling southbound when his 2005 Dodge Ram truck left the right shoulder of the road and striking an earth embankment. The vehicle rolled over multiple times before final rest. Crowley's truck then caught on fire. Crowley was pulled from the burning vehicle by two passing motorists.

Crowley was transported by PHI to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN to be treated for his injuries.

The southbound lanes were impacted for over an hour as emergency crews worked and cleared the parkway.

Kentucky State Police was assisted by the Hartford Police Department, Ohio County EMS, PHI and Hartford Vol. Fire Department.
