Accident with Injuries on KY 136 West near the McLean County Line

Hartford, KY. (July 25, 2016) - Kentucky State Police investigated a single vehicle collision on KY 136 West near the McLean County Line. When the trooper arrived on scene he found 39 year old Bridget Swan was operating her 2005 Toyota Sequoia east bound on 136 towards the community of Hartford, KY. Ms. Swan stated to the trooper that she was ran off the road by an older model dark blue ford truck. Ms. Swan was able to keep from making contact with the truck but in the process lost control of her vehicle striking an earth embankment causing her vehicle to roll over once, coming to rest in the right hand shoulder of the highway. Along with Bridget Swan was her four children ranging from ages 18 to 6 years old. All 5 members of the family were transported to the Ohio County Hospital for nonlife threatening injuries. The Ford truck left the scene of the Collison and continued on towards the community of Livermore in McLean County. The Kentucky State Police was assisted by the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ohio County EMS. The collision is still under investigation by Trooper Adam L Wright and anyone with information regarding this collision is asked to contact Post 16 Henderson at 270-826-3312. The truck is described as a 1995 to 2000 dark blue Ford Dually.
