Felony Arrest in Ohio County

Beaver Dam, KY. (October 25, 2016) – Kentucky State Police and the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department witnessed a drug transaction in the Wal-Mart parking lot of Beaver Dam. Caitlin Reynolds of Livermore, and Marty Baize of Hartford, were observed by law enforcement personnel acting jointly and together selling Methamphetamine. The area in which this transaction took place is located within 1,000 feet of Ohio County Middle and High Schools. Through investigation Troopers located cash, drug paraphernalia, and other items used to sell Methamphetamine. Caitlin Reynolds and Marty Baize were placed under arrest, and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on the following charges: TRAFF CONT SUB WITHIN 1,000 FEET OF SCHOOL, TRAFF IN CONT SUB-1ST DEGREE-1ST OFF- (< OR = 2 GMS METHAMPHETAMINE), POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG-1ST OFF (METHAMPHETAMINE), POSS OF MARIJUANA, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS. Reynolds was also charged with FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD. Troopers and Deputies were assisted on scene by the Beaver Dam Police Department.
