KSP Investigating Assault in Ledbetter, KY

(Ledbetter, KY.) - On May 5, 2016 at 10:25 p.m. Kentucky State Police received a call from the Livingston County Sheriff's Office requesting assistance on Sheila Drive, Ledbetter, KY, in Livingston County. Responding units located Ronald Cobb with a stab wound to his abdomen. The preliminary investigation has revealed that Mr. Cobb was stabbed by his wife, Brenda Cobb, during a domestic dispute. Mr. Cobb was removed by Livingston County EMS and later air lifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. As of 2:00 a.m. May 6, Mr. Cobb was in surgery and his condition was unknown. Kentucky State Police were assisted by the Livingston County Jailer, Livingston County EMS, and the Livingston County Sheriff's Department. The investigation is ongoing by Detective Cory Hamby.
