Boaz Resident Completes KSP Training, Graduates as Valedictorian

Boaz-resident Brandon Michael Crews (center), a dispatcher at Kentucky State Police Post 1 in Mayfield, received his KSP Telecommunications Academy diploma from KSP Deputy Commissioner Alex Payne (right) and Shelly Clark, KSP Post 5-Campbellsburg Telecommunicator and KSP Telecommunications Academy adjunct instructor (left), on May 13 in Frankfort. Crews was also selected as valedictorian for the class with an overall grade point average of 96.2. The training included 236 hours of instruction during a six-week period. A 2009 graduate of Bourbon Co. High School, Crews is the son of Tammy Florence of Lexington, Ky.
