Hazel-resident Amanda Coles (center), a dispatcher at Kentucky State Police Post 1 in Mayfield, received her KSP Telecommunications Academy diploma from KSP Deputy Commissioner Alex Payne (right) and Shelly Clark, KSP Post 5-Campbellsburg Telecommunicator and KSP Telecommunications Academy adjunct instructor (left), on May 13 in Frankfort. The training included 236 hours of instruction during a six-week period. A 2002 graduate of Calloway Co. High School, Coles is the daughter of Janna and Richard Schroader of Hazel, Ky. and Kenny and Tammy Chadwick of Murray, Ky.
