Two Vehicle Injury Collision on US 641

Marion, KY (Crittenden County) - The Kentucky State Police is investigating a two-vehicle, injury-collision that occurred on US 641, on Sunday, May 8 at 7:08 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Wade Wedeking, 25, Marion, was operating a 2003 Chevrolet van southbound on US 641. Austin Story, 21, Marion, was operating a 1996 Dodge pickup truck northbound on US 641.

Mr. Wedeking was attempting to make a left turn into a driveway just north of the intersection of US 641 and KY 70. Mr. Wedeking turned into the path of Mr. Story and the two vehicles collided.

Mr. Wedeking was transported via ambulance to Crittenden Health Systems for treatment. Mr. Story and his passenger, Tiffany Combs, 27, Marion, were transported via ambulance to Crittenden Health Systems for treatment. All occupants were wearing seatbelts.

Trooper Joe Bartolotti is investigating the collision. The Crittenden County Sheriff's Department, Crittenden Fire & Rescue, and Crittenden County EMS assisted at the scene.
