Fatal on Rochester Road in Butler County

(Morgantown, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to a single vehicle injury collision on 04/15/2016 at approx. 7:12 am near the 2900 block of Rochester Road in Butler County. When units arrived on the scene it was discovered that the occupant was deceased.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Robin Hudnall (52) of Rochester was operating a 1992 Oldsmobile passenger car and was traveling eastbound on Rochester Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. His vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and traveled down an embankment where he struck a tree.
Mr. Hudnall was pronounced dead at the scene by the Butler County Coroner and an autopsy will be performed in Louisville by the Medical Examiner's Office. Hudnall had been reported missing on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at approx. 5:30 am where he was entered as a missing person by the Butler County Sheriff's Department.
The investigation is still ongoing and being conducted by Master Trooper Terry Alexander. He was assisted on the scene by Sergeant Tucker Carmichael, KSP Detectives Jeremy Hodges and Adam Morgan, Butler County Sheriff's Department, Butler County Coroner, Butler County EMS, Butler County Rescue Squad, and the Morgantown Fire Department.
