Update: Body Found in Drakes Creek Identified in Warren County

Bowling Green, KY (August 28, 2016) - The body of a male that was found in the Drakes Creek yesterday in Warren County has been identified as 30 year old Victor Thomas of Bowling Green.
The investigation is still ongoing but at this time foul play is not suspected. No further information can be released at this time.

Body Found in Drakes Creek Identified in Warren County

Bowling Green, KY (August 27, 2016) - On August 27, 2016 at 11:52 hours, Kentucky State Police Post 3 received a call from a kayaker who stated she had located a submerged body in Drakes Creek outside the limits of Bowling Green in Warren County.
Troopers Brett Coomes and Kevin Mayfield, Detectives Graham Rutherford and Jason Lanham and Sergeant Tucker Carmichael responded to the scene and recovered the body of an unidentified subject from the north bank of the creek. An autopsy has been scheduled on August 28, 2016 in Louisville.
The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Detective Rutherford. No other information is available for release at this time.
