Kentucky State Police Arrest South Carolina Man for Drug Trafficking

EDDYVILLE, Ky.(October 4, 2017) – On October 3, 2017 at approximately 1:00 p.m., Kentucky State Troopers assigned to the KSP Post 1 Interdiction Team stopped a passenger car near the 45 mile marker of Interstate 24 for a traffic violation. During the course of that traffic stop, troopers located approximately 11 pounds of high grade marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a large sum of cash inside the vehicle. Also located inside the vehicle was a pill believed to be a Schedule 2 Controlled Substance.
Timothy P. Corbin, Jr., age 22, of Chapin, South Carolina, was arrested and charged with Careless Driving, Second Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, Trafficking Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
