Dawson Springs Woman Arrested For Trafficking in Methamphetamine

Earlington, KY. (Hopkins County) – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a Dawson Springs woman for trafficking in methamphetamine after a traffic stop lead to her arrest.
On Friday, January 13th, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Trooper Cody Kromer conducted a traffic stop on North Robinson Street for a vehicle violation. Donna E. Stanley, 32, Dawson Springs, KY was a passenger in the vehicle. During a search, she was found to be in possession of suspected crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia that is consistent with trafficking in narcotics.
Donna Stanley was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail and charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substances, 1st degree, 2nd or Greater Offense (< 2 grams Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Kentucky State Police is investigating the collision. Mattoon Volunteer Fire Department, Crittenden County Rescue Squad, Crittenden County EMS, and Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
