Kentucky State Police Announces Labor Day Enforcement Campaign

Madisonville, KY.(August 31, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville will be conducting traffic safety checkpoints and increased patrols in the Post 2 District during the Labor Day Holiday. During the checkpoints Troopers will be enforcing laws related to operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, licensing of motor vehicles and operators, registration and insurance violations, seat belt and child restraint violations, and motor vehicle equipment violations.
Motorists are encouraged to drive safely and remember to wear their seat belts. Driving impaired will result in you being arrested. KSP Trooopers will enforce a Zero Tolerance policy during this campaign.
