Kentucky State Police Arrest Muhlenberg County Student Teacher

Greenville, KY.(October 3, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police are investigating a Muhlenberg County Student Teacher in reference to a possible inappropriate relationship with a student.
KSP Post 2 received a complaint alleging that 24 year old Sarah McVey Wood, of Hartford, KY was having an inappropriate relationship with one of her students at the Muhlenberg County High School West Campus.
Through investigation, it was learned that Wood had sexual intercourse with a 17 year old male student on two different occasions.
Because of her position as a student-teacher, her actions constitute felony charges.
Wood was arrested and lodged in the Muhlenberg County Jail on 2 counts of Rape 3rd Degree.
The investigation is ongoing by Detective Jonathon Murphy.
