White Plains Man Charged with Possession of Methamphetamine

Madisonville, KY (Hopkins County) – On Thursday, February 8, 2018 at approximately 11:28 P.M., Trooper Cody Kromer observed a 2002 Buick Century operating with only one headlight on Sandcut Road, just south of Madisonville. Trooper Kromer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, and observed the operator, Keith Adamson, 37, of White Plains, KY, to appear under the influence. During the course of the traffic stop, Trooper Kromer discovered Mr. Adamson was in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Keith Adamson was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center and charged with the following:
1.) One Headlight
2.) DUI 1st
3.) Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
4.) Operating Vehicle with Expired Operator’s License
