Cold Case on Sanford Wedgeworth

State Police Request Help Resolving Sanford Wedgeworth Murder

On Wednesday, August 11, 1971 at the weight scale on I-71 northbound 3.5 miles north of Campbellsburg, KY Sanford Wedgeworth had been beaten, robbed and shot in the right side. The victim was tied up and left in the cab of the truck.

Post 05 Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the murder of Sanford Wedgeworth to contact Detective Todd Harwood at 1-877-416-1226 or they can email him at todd.harwood@ky.gov .
