Arrest Made in Bath County Murder Case

(Morehead, KY) –  William F. Hill, Jr., 64 was arrested and charged with allegedly committing the murder of Wilma Rice. The arrest followed a joint investigation between the Bath & Montgomery County Sheriff's Departments and the State Police into the shooting death of Wilma Rice.

Hill is lodged in the Montgomery County Detention Facility under $200,000.00 Bond. An autopsy was preformed on Rice earlier this day at the Medical Examiner's Office.

The investigation continues, with Kentucky State Police Detectives David Owen and Brian Bowling, Kentucky State Police Sgt. Greg Motley and Bath County Coroner.  The Kentucky State Police is being assisted by the Bath County Sheriff's Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department.
