Anderson County Death Investigation Update

Date of News Release: 05/10/2005

(Frankfort, KY) - Through the course of this investigation it has been determined that on Sunday, May 08, 2005, Joseph Shepard who lived with Tammy Hendrix at 1818 Ballard Road, Lawrenceburg, KY shot Tammy twice during a domestic argument. After shooting Tammy Hendrix, Joseph Shepard then turned the gun on himself. Shepard shot himself one time and KSP units responding to a domestic call at the residence discovered both subjects. Tammy Hendrix is still listed in critical condition at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Accused: Joseph Shepard Address: Lawrenceburg, KY. Injuries: Deceased Race/Sex: White/Male, Age: 31
