Post 12 Labor Day Holiday Data

Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort Labor Day data from the seven counties in the Post 12 area during the Labor Day Holiday 2005. * Preliminary statistics now show 1 fatal crash in Scott County investigated by the Scott County Sheriff Department on Saturday, September 3 2005.

Troopers working the Post 12 area issued a total of 300 citations, 97 citations for speeding, 21 citations for seat belt violations, 6 child restraint citations and 166 other citations. There were 10 DUI arrest, 2 traffic collisions investigated by Kentucky State Police and 20 motorist assists.

Kentucky State Police Post 12, provides police coverage for Anderson, Fayette, Franklin, Scott, Shelby, Spencer and Woodford counties.

*These statistics are still preliminary as KSP waits for all local law enforcement agencies to report any crashes and fatalities that may have occurred in their areas.
