KSP Reports A Scam in Post 16 Area
Date of News Release: 06/10/2005
(Henderson, KY.) - The Kentucky State Police have received reports of Irish Travelers working in the Post 16 area. KSP wants the public to know that these travelers will be traveling with North Carolina and South Carolina License plates on their vehicles. Reports indicate that they are involved in home repair and roof coating scams. We encourage anyone that encounters these travelers to contact their local authorities. Do not pay in advance for any services they may offer. We believe they may be working out of the Owensboro area. Please Contact Kentucky State Police at (270) 826-3312 or (270) 685-3927 if you have contact with these individuals.
