Criminal Arrest in Ohio County, KY

Date of News Release: 06/25/2005

(Henderson, KY.) - The Kentucky State Police and the Ohio County Sheriffs Dept received information that Daniel Hurt, escapee from Ohio County Detention, was at Adaburg Tower Lane, Hartford. Units obtained permission to search from Jacob Martin. During the search units found marijuana, drug paraphernalia, anhydrous and all the items needed to manufacture methamphetamine located on the property. While at the residence escapee, Daniel Hurt, drove by the residence in a vehicle driven by a female. Units responded as vehicle fled the area. After a short time the vehicle stopped and Hurt got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. The female driving the vehicle was questioned and released however Hurt remains at large. The Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Section-West arrived to perform the clean up of the hazardous materials. Martin was charged with the above charges and lodged in the Ohio County Jail.
