Fatal Collision on US 421 in Bledsoe, KY

(Bledsoe, KY) - On 8/25/2008 at 2:25 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan received a call about a single vehicle fatal crash at Daws Branch Road and US 421 in Bledsoe, KY. Michael Hensley age 25 of Mary Alice, KY was operating a 1995 Ford water truck traveling on Daws Branch Road approaching the intersection of US 421. Mr. Hensley lost control of the truck and overturned onto US 421 sustaining fatal injuries. Assisting at the scene was the Harlan County Coroner, Bledsoe Fire Department and Johnsons Life Care. This fatal crash is still under investigation by Trooper Walt Szczepan Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan.
