Vehicle Pursuit and Arrest in Laurel County

(London, KY) - On Monday, April 14, 2008 at 11:53 PM Kentucky State Police Sergeant Steve Walker attempted to stop a 1989 Ford Pickup Truck for a traffic violation. The driver, later identified as Timothy Brock, 31, of London, refused to stop and a vehicle pursuit began. Sergeant Walker pursued the truck to a residence on Harris Cemetery Road in Laurel County where the driver was apprehended.
Mr. Brock was charged with DUI 1ST Offense, Fleeing or Evading Police 1ST Degree, No Operators License, Rear License Plate not Illuminated, Failure to wear seat belt, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 Counts), Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon (6 counts), Receiving Stolen Property (firearm), No Registration Plate, Failure to Maintain Insurance and Contempt of Court (3 counts on bench warrants). Brock was lodged in the Laurel County Jail.
Sergeant Walker is continuing the investigation and was assisted by other KSP Officers.
