2007 Safety Belt Usage Rate for Post 12 Frankfort Post Counties

(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort is glad to report the increases of safety belt usage in the Frankfort Post Counties. In 2006 the Frankfort Post counties safety belt usage rate was 69.3%, the state average safety belt usage rate was 68%. In 2007 the counties safety belt usage rate was 77%, the state average safety belt usage rate was 72%. Counties in the Post 12 area safety belt usage rate from 2006 to 2007 increased by 7.7 %. Statewide safety belt usage rate from 2006 to 2007 increased by 4%.

Spencer, Scott and Anderson Counties improved the most from 2006 to 2007 in their safety belt usage rate. Spencer County led the Post counties safety belt usage with an increases from 70% in 2006 to 83% in 2007. A safety belt usage rate improvement of 13%.

Anderson County was second in safety belt usage with an increase from 57.7% in 2006 to 69% in 2007. A safety belt usage rate improvement of 11.3%.

Scott County was third in safety belt usage with an increase from 60.8% in 2006 to 69% in 2007. A safety belt usage rate improvement of 8.2%.
