May Monthly Activity From Post 14

Date of News Release: 06/03/2008

(Ashland, KY) - During the month of May 2008, there were 42 motor vehicle collisions investigated by State Police working out of the Ashland Post in the four counties of Boyd, Greenup, Carter, and Lawrence.

During May of 2008 there was 4 fatalites in the Post 14, which occurred in Carter County (1) and Greenup County (3) compared to 3 in May 2007, which occurred in Carter County (1) and Greenup County (2). Statewide fatalities stand at 297 compared to 332 for the same time period in 2007.
