Injury Collision on US 68 in Marion County

Date of News Release: 09/07/2008

(Columbia, KY) - David Williams age 40 of Campbellsville, KY was traveling eastbound on US 68, attempting to overtake another vehicle. A westbound vehicle which had been in the emergency lane pulled back onto the roadway heading westbound and into the path of Mr. Williams' vehicle. Mr. Williams steered to avoid the oncoming vehicle, overcorrected, lost control and overturned, never making contact with the other vehicle. Mr. Williams & both passengers (42 Susan Williams & Makayla Williams age 11) were all transferred by the Marion County EMS to the Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
