Injury Collision at the JCT of French Valley Road & KY 379 in Russell County

(Columbia, KY) - Megan Coe, age 17 of Jamestown, KY was attempting a left turn onto Hales Highway from French Valley Road when she pulled her 1999 Volkswagen into the path of a 1999 Chevy Cavalier being operated by Elvin York, age 55 of Russell Springs. Ms. Coe was not injured in the collision. A passenger in Ms. Coe's vehicle (Nicholas Coe age 17 of Jamestown) was transported by private vehicle to the Russell County Hospital for minor injuries, he was treated and released. Mr. York was also transported to the hospital by EMS where he was also treated and released. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
