Criminal Arrest in Daviess County

Date of News Release: 01/04/2008

(Henderson, KY) - On 12-03-2007 a Daviess County Grand Jury indicted Bruce A. Thorpe age 40 on the charges of Incest , Unlawful Transaction w/Minor 1st, Unlawful Transaction w/Minor 2nd, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd.

Mr. Thorpe is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 17 year old niece at a local motel on 09-04-2006. Mr. Thorpe, who has prior felony convictions, is also alleged to have smoked methamphetamine and marijuana with his niece on the same date.

The indictment warrant was changed to a criminal summons due to Mr. Thorpe's medical condition.
