DUI Injury Collision on KY 54 in Ohio County

Date of News Release: 01/06/2008

(Henderson, KY) - Judy Frames were traveling eastbound on KY 54 at a high rate of speed. As Ms. Frames was entering a right hand curve she failed to make the curve and went off the left shoulder of the roadway causing the van to overturn and come to rest in a large group of trees. The infant and Ms. Frames were transported to Owensboro Mercy Health Systems where the infant was checked and determined to be unharmed. Ms. Frames was treated for minor injuries and upon release was charged with Driving Under the Influence 1st Offense – Aggravated Circumstances, Possession Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense – Methamphetamine, Possession Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense, Possession Controlled Substance 3rd Degree 1st Offense, Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container, and lodged in Ohio County Detention Center.
