Injury Collision on KY 54 in Daviess County

Date of News Release: 01/24/2008

(Henderson, KY) - Samuel W. Alvey, driving a 2003 Ford eastbound on KY 54 when he failed to negotiate a curve in front of Whitesville Elementary and continued straight. The vehicle struck a utility pole breaking it in half and then overturning. Both Samuel W. Alvey and the passenger (Albert Dawson) were taken to Owensboro Medical Health System by ambulance. Albert Dawson suffered a broken arm. The seatbelts were worn by both subjects.
